One could say that David Khuat-Duy's destiny was to establish a business merging technology with management – his mother was an IT systems director and his father an entrepreneur, so David absorbed topics at the intersection of business and tech from a young age. Founded by him, Ivalua is a #SaaS platform facilitating #procurement processes, supplier relationships 🤝, #supplychainmanagement, 🚛 and #automation 🤖. Before the company became one of the French unicorns🦄, Khuat Duy gained initial experiences in PwC as a consultant in #erp system implementations. This knowledge and a progessing digitalization of processes created ideal conditions for Ivalua to #grow and succeed.Today, the company is valued at over 2 billion euros and, in line with its strategy, it grows organically, profitably, and sustainably. Its clients include not only large corporations but also #governmental bodies; states like Maryland and Arizona, as well as the city of New York, benefit from its services. Tailored implementations, adapted to the client's specific needs, outcompete other players, utilizing tools such as effective management of CO2 emissions in deliveries and automation using AI.#frenchtech #lafrenchtech #frenchtechwarsaw #meetfrenchstartups #frenchstartup ... La French Tech Warsaw
Few can dream as boldly as immigrants. When Andrew Sieja, the son of Polish immigrants in Chicago, founded his business in 2001, he dreamt of building a boutique software consulting firm specializing in collaboration and knowledge management tools 💻 . That firm, kCura, together with its founder, are the protagonist of today's episode in the history of Polish startups. Just three years after its inception, kCura struck gold when litigation giant Foley & Lardner hired them to create a platform for managing 📂 documents.Over time, kCura found its niche. The volume of documents 📃 and data 📈 in the ⚖ legal industry was rapidly increasing, requiring technological support to manage it. Thus, the company's most important product, Relativity, was born—an #ediscovery #software helping users organize #unstructureddata and derive insights and value from it.In 2015, Andrew Sieja returned to his roots and opened a Relativity office in Poland. Since then, the #Krakow team has been driving #innovation for the company and currently employs around 350 people. In 2021, Relativity announced a strategic #investment partnership with Silver Lake. The goal of the partnership was to accelerate Relativity's #growth and product development, such as ☁ #cloud offerings, and to increase investments in cloud technologies in the EMEA and APAC regions. This year also marked Relativity's acquisitions of VerQu, a data management software company, and TextIQ, a leader in applying #AI to identify sensitive data.Currently, Relativity employs 1300 people in offices worldwide—in Chicago, New Jersey, Krakow, London, Hong Kong, and Melbourne—and is trusted by more than 350,000 annual #users. 🙋‍♀️🙋🙋‍♂️#FrenchTech #frenchtechwarsaw ...
